How can I delete my CTMFB Account?

Here’s Step-by-Step Guide on Deactivating Your Account on the CTMFB App 

Introduction: 

Deleting your account is an essential step to ensure that your personal information is no longer associated with the platform. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of deleting your account on CTMFB apps. Kindly know that when you delete your account would make us sad 

Step 1: Go to Account Settings 

The first step in deleting your account is to log in to the mobile app and go to the More icon on the favorites tray within the app. When clicked you'll see your profile. On the profile section Look for an icon and label that represents Account, denoted by a cogwheel and user symbol. 

Step 2: Navigate to Account 

Once you're in the Account menu, look for an option related to your Deactivate account. The Deactivate account is in red text different from the remaining options. 

Step 3: Find the Account Deactivation Option 

Within the account, you should find an option related to account deactivation. This option is to give our users the ability to close their accounts when needed. 

Step 4: Review Terms and Consequences 

Before proceeding with the Deactivation process, carefully review any terms, conditions, or consequences associated with Deactivating your account. Make sure you understand the implications before proceeding. 

Step 5: Follow Additional Instructions 

After a careful consideration of the implications of deleting your account. Click on the continue button. 

Step 6: Receive Confirmation 

Once you've completed the necessary steps, the app should provide you with a confirmation that your account has been successfully Deactivated. This confirmation will be sent to your registered email address. 

How long do we keep your data? 

We retain your information for the duration of your status as a CTMFB customer and for any additional period mandated by relevant laws or regulations. These retention obligations take precedence over any requests for data erasure in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Consequently, we are unable to delete your data related to your CTMFB Account until after this specified timeframe. Nevertheless, please be assured that your data will be securely and safely maintained under our supervision throughout this period. 

When do we delete your data? 

We primarily store and process your personal data for the duration necessary to fulfil our obligations under the agreement with you or as mandated by relevant laws. Essentially, once the data is no longer essential for statutory or contractual obligations, it will be deleted. 

In the event that you decide to delete your CTMFB account, we commit to erasing all previously provided data, including the facial video recorded during the liveness check. However, this deletion is contingent upon compliance with retention regulations imposed by regulatory authorities.
